About the Role

As a dedicated Caring Companion at Advantaged Care Edensor Gardens, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents and promoting their independence. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of passionate professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional care and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our residents and families.

We are currently recruiting for part-time and casual positions to cover a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights. If you have a strong passion for aged care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to empathy, honesty, respect, and loyalty, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Promote resident independence and autonomy, encouraging them to participate in activities and make choices.
  • Create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, responding to resident needs and preferences.
Requirements:
  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent.
  • 6 months' experience in aged care (preferably) or a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of empathy, honesty, respect, and loyalty in providing high-quality care.
