Are you a seasoned leader with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong focus on results? We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead two critical wards at our hospital, driving patient safety and care excellence.
About The Role- Oversee unit operations, delivering quality patient care and achieving outstanding performance in key areas – patient safety, quality, financials, and operations.
- Implement evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes through the effective use of Healthscope's safety frameworks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to your team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment that promotes excellence in healthcare.
- Drive process improvements to enhance quality and patient experience.
- Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve department objectives.
- Registered with AHPRA (Registered Nursing).
- Proven leadership experience in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical care or General surgery.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving quality and performance outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to consult, guide and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to work across one or multiple hospitals across our network.
