Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at UniLodge. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, including maintenance, repairs, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventative and reactive works, to ensure high asset quality and presentation.
- Oversee the work of internal management, external partners, and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety for all employees.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan to ensure compliance items are met.
- Assist in the formulation of budgets and regularly monitor P&L performance against targets.
- Offer emergency out-of-hours support and guidance to on-site teams.
- Work closely with internal management, external partners, and contractors to maintain high asset quality and presentation.
- Demonstrated experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing installations, and building maintenance.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department.
- Understanding of OH&S principles and chemical handling.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, owners, tenants, and contractors.
- National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrician, or Plumber (highly desirable).
