Job Overview

We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at a 189 bed, acute care facility. Our Cardiac, Maternity, Rehabilitation and Oncology services provide exceptional specialty care for individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
  • Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to industry standards and policies.
  • Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations and maintain own professional development.
  • Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide patient care.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure high quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with relevant authorities and right to work in Australia.
  • 5+ years experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting.
  • Commitment to quality patient care and compliance with national standards.
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
