Job Summary:

Factory Hand

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Factory Hand in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Work with timber and steel materials, applying expertise in measurement, cutting, assembling, and preparation for manufacturing fireproof doors.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting rigorous quality control requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Basic personal protective equipment (PPE) and willingness to purchase additional PPE as required.

Work Environment:

  • Standard 5am - 2:30pm shift, Monday to Friday.
  • Temporary position with opportunity to become permanent after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Remuneration:

  • $29.50 per hour casual rate + applicable penalties.
