The Assistant Centre Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Centre Director to ensure the smooth operation of the centre, maintaining an outstanding learning environment for our children, and building strong relationships with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in daily operations, including managing centre resources and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Liaise with teachers to ensure a cohesive and engaging curriculum is delivered, promoting the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working in an early childhood service, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
