Are you an experienced signal electrician looking for a long-term opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a signal electrician, responsible for maintaining the safety of the rail network's signalling systems.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance inspections and repairs as per our Technical Maintenance Plan, identifying and repairing signal mechanical faults, and attending failures to diagnose and correct signalling faults. As part of our team, you will work on a 9-day fortnight roster, with occasional working away from home requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs of signalling equipment
- Identify and repair signal mechanical faults
- Attend failures to diagnose and correct signalling faults
Requirements:
- Assessed Signal Electrician qualification
- Previous signalling experience
- Competent in fault rectification, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of signalling systems
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management skills
- White card
- Class C Driver's licence essential (HR preferred)
- Hold a current RIW card (preferable)
