Lindfield, New South Wales, Australia Commonwealth Bank Full time

At Commonwealth Bank, we foster an innovative culture and a genuine commitment to drive diversity and inclusion. We're driven by our values and support our people with flexibility to balance work and personal life.

We're seeking a Strategic Business Workflow Specialist to join our team, where you'll work alongside Principal/Lead Business Engineers and Product Owner to define product vision and feature roadmap. You'll be part of a squad to define requirements and help execute the roadmap, supporting products delivered.

The Workflow Crew drives architecture, design, build, and governance roadmap across the group for various workflow technologies. This is your opportunity to join an established company focused on personal and professional development.

In this role, you'll provide business analysis services and specialist support for the Workflow Crew, gathering and documenting information, conducting analyses of business needs through elicitation and management of business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

You'll liaise and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand organisational structure, policies, and operations, recommending solutions to enable the organisation to achieve its goals. You'll complete and oversee project work stream deliverables, including quality control and sign-off for your area of accountability.

As a key member of our team, you'll provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production, working closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts on business processes resulting from system or application changes.

You'll identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary. You'll evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes, and methodologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Agile project environment, where you'll thrive in a respectful, inclusive, and flexible workplace with flexible work locations. We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

We value diversity and inclusion, and welcome applications from candidates with a Risk Mindset, providing business analysis services and specialist support. If you have experience working as a Business Engineer in case management solutions/workflow automation projects, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks, including Pega OOTB features such as Flows, Flow Actions, Activities, User Interface, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), REST Connectors, and SOAP Services. Experience with journey-centric methodologies for requirements gathering/elaboration and good understanding of integrations, cloud hosting, and design/building of reusable components are highly valued.
