Job Opportunity

We are seeking multiple apprentices with a strong desire to work and develop as Distribution Linespersons.

This role offers the opportunity to learn and become proficient in various skills, including installing and maintaining conductors, aerial equipment, and lines, as well as upgrading and constructing new and existing assets.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Install and maintain conductors, aerial equipment, and lines
  • Install and maintain all associated electrical supply equipment
  • Upgrade and construct new and existing assets
  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and maps
  • Complete comprehensive risk assessments
  • Terminate conductors
  • String and terminate overhead conductors

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A valid drivers' license
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Basic skill in using hand and power tools (ideal)
  • Willingness to undergo a medical and police check
  • Be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen
