We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist to join our renowned Geotechnical and Tunnels team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including transport, power, water, mining, property, and government.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Manage Geotechnical Investigation Projects: You will be responsible for designing, undertaking, and managing geotechnical investigation projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, and then undertaking analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to Geotechnical and Multidisciplinary Projects: You will use your investigation and design skills to contribute to geotechnical and multidisciplinary projects across the sectors in which we operate.
- Drive Business Development: You will drive business development through successful delivery of your projects.
- Assist with Project Planning and Deliverables: You will assist with project planning and deliverables of technical complexity.
- Promote a Safe Working Culture: You will promote a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazards.
We are looking for a candidate with a civil engineering or engineering geology degree, experience in geotechnical engineering, and a track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects. You should also have demonstrated experience in the preparation of written technical reports and client communications, as well as geotechnical design.
