About the RoleYou will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will also be required to locate and diagnose maintenance problems on equipment, conduct warranty services, and perform emergency repairs when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems.
- Locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment.
- Conducting warranty services and performing emergency repairs.
- Addressing mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a HVAC Technician is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job.
- Holding a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Refrigerant Handling (ARCtick) Licence, QLD Restricted Electrical Licence, and a Current QLD MANUAL Drivers Licence is mandatory.
This role comes with an hourly rate of between $47 + Super + Car, with average earnings between $100 - $140K + Super. You will have opportunities to progress into an off-the-tools role in the future for the right person.
