Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cleaner, Food Services Assistant, Support Services Attendant, and Ward Support to join our team at various hospitals across Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cleaning services to all departments, wards, and public areas
  • Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
  • Identify and record any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
  • Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff

Food Service Assistant

  • Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches, and drinks
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery, and trolleys
  • Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
  • Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

Support Services Attendant

  • Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
  • Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
  • Assist with transportation of medical equipment
  • Collection and delivery of records and documentation
  • Assist with transportation of equipment across the site

Requirements

  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio, or blood test to show immunity
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
