The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is seeking an Architectural Analyst to join its Information and Reporting Unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for capturing, updating, and reporting physical land and building asset information in the IAR Asset Management System.
You will facilitate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and asset data operations, contributing to improving IAR's data capture processes. Your expertise will be utilized to advise on activities related to asset data and CAD, providing guidance and support to team members.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and/or like architectural software. Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills are also desirable.

About the DepartmentThe Department of Education supports Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy, and healthy lives. The VSBA is part of this department, overseeing Victoria's largest school building program since the state introduced free public education in the 1870s.
The VSBA upgrades and expands existing schools, plans, designs, and builds new schools to meet enrolment demand. We also support schools to maintain their buildings and grounds by offering expert advice and coordinating maintenance programs and grants.
About the DivisionThe Strategy and Planning Division is responsible for the VSBA's operating framework, investment strategy, policy setting, asset information management, budget strategy, and coordination. The Division also plans and coordinates delivery of new early childhood facilities and support for the wider early childhood sector.
The Asset Planning Branch designs and delivers school-level infrastructure strategies, manages school application-based and maintenance funding programs, allocates relocatable buildings, and conducts cost analysis of potential school infrastructure projects.
About the UnitThe Information and Reporting Unit (IRU) forms part of the Strategy & Planning Division of VSBA. The unit is responsible for maintaining the asset data in the asset management system for all Victorian government schools.
IRU provides a range of reports to support core functions of the VSBA, including building data for planning and delivering capital works projects, capacity data for investment modelling, and room-level data for school cleaning management.
