Looking for a career opportunity with growth and development? We are seeking Trainee Automotive Fitters to join our team in a full-time traineeship role. Our focus on long-term education and progression of our staff is key to our continued success.

This is a rare opportunity to start from scratch and build a genuine career as an automotive fitter. You will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm in a supportive environment with a renewed focus on learning and culture. We will provide you with a Cert III Qualification at no cost once you have become a qualified fitter.

You will receive uniforms, windscreen-specific tools, and penalty rates for any overtime. Qualified Fitter Level includes a fully equipped company vehicle and fuel card. You will get to work on a range of different cars, including luxury vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Reliability: Be ready to turn up every day, on time
  • Attention to detail: Ability to focus on small details is essential
  • Mechanically minded: Interest and passion for automobiles is preferred
  • Strong learning aptitude: Willingness to learn and acquire new skills is essential
  • Ability to troubleshoot/think on your feet: The role requires problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use power tools: Basic knowledge of using power tools is essential
  • Positive mindset and good for culture: We value a positive attitude and being a good team player
  • Physically fit: The role requires physical activity
  • Driver's license: A manual license is preferred
