Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Liverpool. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply quality tools to ensure manufacturing processes operate consistently within defined tolerances.
  • Analyse testing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain the calibration of factory equipment and ensure calibration records are kept up to date.
  • Develop and update methods for testing and inspecting cables to ensure compliance with standards and customer specifications.
  • Review supplier certificates of conformance for raw materials.
  • Ensure that all documentation available at the shopfloor is the latest version.
  • Perform quick process audits and quality system audits.
Requirements
  • Professional knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Able to acquire and analyse data using standard quantitative methods.
  • Knowledge of various national and international cable standards.
  • Equipment calibration principles and theories.
  • Awareness of safety, environment, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with quality management systems and ISO 9001 compliance.
