Job Title:

  • System Integration Specialist
About the Role

We seek an experienced System Integration Specialist to join our team in Perth, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical solutions for various projects in the infrastructure and renewable sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing control systems design and support services for Allen Bradley PLC systems, AVEVA/Citect SCADA, Siemens T3000, and relevant Siemens SCADA systems
  • Providing communications network design and support services
  • Reviewing supplier documentation to ensure deliverables are accurate and presentable
  • Attending supplier premises for software and hardware testing
  • Providing offsite and onsite support for construction and commissioning of control systems and communications networks
  • Identifying potential problems and liaising with third parties to resolve issues
  • Delivering technical reports and specifications

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years experience in control systems and industrial communication design, preferably in the resources or renewables sector
  • Exposure to software development, FAT, IST, SAT, and project handover is essential
  • Experience in preparing control system functional specifications and philosophies
  • Industrial communications knowledge, especially network protocols, network design, and preparation of block diagrams
  • Previous site-based experience / knowledge is desirable
  • A willingness to work in an office-based environment and potentially mobilise to site for short to medium-term engagements
