We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an academic mentor. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and help them achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
- Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students in need of extra academic assistance
- Help students develop effective learning strategies and study skills
- Assist students in setting and achieving academic goals
Requirements:
- Graduated high school with a strong academic record
- Completed school in Australia
- Blue card or willingness to obtain one
- ATAR specific mentors must have graduated from the QLD ATAR system
- Committed to our students for at least 3 months
- Reliable transportation (ideally) and willingness to travel around Inner South Brisbane and South Brisbane suburbs
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and empathetic approach to mentoring
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to convey complex concepts clearly
