Wellbeing and Recovery Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated professional to lead initiatives that genuinely improve the wellbeing and recovery outcomes of our people.

This role is critical in shaping and delivering our Health and Wellbeing strategy, ensuring employees thrive, and promoting a culture of care and accountability across the organisation.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with leaders to build capability in supporting employee wellbeing and drive continuous improvement in Return to Work, Recovery and Fitness for Work programs.

  • Lead wellbeing and mental health initiatives that strengthen resilience and psychological safety.
  • Partner with leaders to develop strategic plans that promote employee wellbeing.
  • Manage our Employee Assistance Program and Body Care initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in Return to Work, Recovery and Fitness for Work programs.
  • Oversee workers' compensation activities, ensuring compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Analyse data, provide insights, and inform strategy and decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related field.
  • State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) Return to Work coordinator training.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in injury management, recovery at work or wellbeing roles.
  • Experience implementing strategic recovery and return to work programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage confidential matters.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
