Spray Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Spray Technician to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our green space maintenance team, you will play a vital role in enhancing and maintaining green spaces along commercial areas, council-controlled roadsides, and open spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Chemical Application: Prepare and apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to designated areas, ensuring safe and effective application.
• Weed Control: Apply chemicals for weed control and eradication, and identify and report weed infestations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain spray equipment following safety standards.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of chemical applications and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Litter Clean-up: Conduct routine litter clean-up and report any damage or issues found.
• Team Safety: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of team members, and the public during the application of chemicals.

About You

• Chemical Application Certification: Valid certification in chemical application (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and communication skills.
