Job Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead our team in South Penrith. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring all relevant laws and regulations are observed, and mentoring a team of educators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational aspects of the OSHC service, including staffing, resources, and facilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Mentor and guide a team of educators to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Develop opportunities for educators to grow and develop professionally
  • Encourage reflective practice and continuous improvement
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including parents, children, and colleagues

About the Service:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new service in South Penrith, working at a nearby school during holidays. The community is close-knit, and the school is licensed for 60 children.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in OSHC or ECE settings
  • A minimum Certificate III in Education and Care
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with a mix of block and split shifts
  • A genuine interest in working with children and mentoring educators
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Current training in 'CHCPRT001' and 'HLTAID012'
  • A valid NSW Paid Working with Children Check
  • An understanding of child safety principles and practices
