Job Title: Cyber Security Project Manager

Location: Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team at PowerData Group Consulting. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of Cyber Security and assurance projects. You will also provide support to clear issues blocking delivery and ensure that project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.

Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.

Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.

Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.

Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.

Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective.

Provide technical direction and leadership.

Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum 3 + years experience in the following areas;

Experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.

Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment,

And/or Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment.

Weighted Criteria:

Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to minimise the organisation change impact in order to successfully implement Cyber Security mitigations.

Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs, from project definition to product delivery/demonstration.

Experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments.
