Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers and team members
  • Carrying out machine pre-delivery and customer-specific installations on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipment
  • Performing service and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and RCS systems
  • Solving equipment-related issues, including diagnostic fault finding
  • Ensuring compliance with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, or light Vehicle trade qualifications or similar
  • Customer-facing experience or similar
  • Experience in the maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fault-find electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
  • Epiroc surface and underground product experience will be highly regarded
