Senior Tax Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to lead our tax compliance function.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual with significant experience in tax compliance and reporting.

As Senior Tax Advisor, you will oversee the preparation of tax returns and engage with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

You will also develop and implement effective tax governance processes and controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

A strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations is essential, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax compliance obligations, including income tax, GST, and FBT.
  • Prepare tax effect accounting and manage delivery of tax disclosures in financial statements.
  • Engage with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop and implement effective tax governance processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic tax decisions.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualification with significant experience in tax compliance and reporting.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
