About this Role

This position involves leading a team in the food department within our unit to provide a seamless food offer to coworkers, onsite visitors, and contractors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the Food department to achieve excellence in operations, quality of food, and reducing waste.
  • Coaching teams to optimize and develop the IKEA Food business by securing brand position, strategies, legal compliance, and people & planet positivity.
  • Managing recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning, and competence development of the team.
  • Implementing global and national compliance standards, managing the food supply chain, and range competence within the department.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, including inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Designing menus, ensuring quality, and an appealing presentation to secure a desirable food offer.

  • Attention to detail to ensure a high standard of work is produced with prior experience in managing costs and resources.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines with awareness of food safety, hygiene, WHS & manual handing standards required.
