About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptcare's Wyndham Lodge facility in Victoria. This role focuses on providing comprehensive clinical care to consumers, working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care that meets consumer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management to care staff, fostering a team-based environment that prioritizes consumer focus.
- Ensure staff are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare standards in care delivery, professionalism, and customer-focused approach.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues, staff, consumers, and families, respecting individual privacy and dignity.
- Ensure safe and secure management of medications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain own educational and professional development within Scope of Practice.
About You
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working in the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel
- Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role
