We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continence Nurse Consultant to join our team at Benetas. As a Continence Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing specialist nursing services to clients with urinary or bowel incontinence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist nursing services to clients with urinary or bowel incontinence, including assessment, treatment, and support.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client assessments and care plans.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and carers to provide education and support in managing continence conditions.
- Work closely with colleagues to promote positive working relationships and provide clear direction and guidance.
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in Continence, such as a Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Urological and Continence) or endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Statewide Equipment Program (SWEP) credentialing for prescribing of continence products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and carers.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including accreditation standards.
- Experience in managing complex client scenarios and providing specialized continence advisory services.
- A competitive hourly rate of $64.
