Job Opportunity: Welding and Coating Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Welding and Coating QA/QC expert at our Welshpool Workshop.

This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the performance and reliability of critical mining equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing company quality processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, schedule, and deliverables across all projects.
  • Monitor and review quality processes to guarantee adherence to applicable requirements.
  • Support inspection and testing of welding and surface treatment activities.
  • Assist with preparation and review of QA/QC documentation.
  • Contribute to delivering reliable, professional, and efficient services for clients.

About You:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A trade qualification or suitable Engineering degree.
  • Welding Supervisor and/or Welding Inspector certifications.
  • Coating Inspector qualifications (desirable).
  • Supervisor or Leadership training (desirable).
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with surface treatment inspection and testing (desirable).
  • A solid understanding of applicable Australian standards (desirable).
  • Experience and knowledge of NDT requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
