We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Disability Support Practitioner. In this capacity, you will collaborate with clients to enhance their autonomy, advocate for their needs, and provide personalized support in various aspects of daily life.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborating with clients to develop and maintain their independence and advocating for their unique requirements
- Delivering customized support by assisting clients during meal times, personal care, administering medication, manual handling using equipment and aids
- Transporting clients utilizing wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
- Experience as a caregiver or DSP or assistant in nursing or in aged care (or other similar roles)
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)
