About the RoleWe are looking for a talented educator with expertise in pedagogy and staff development to lead the creation and delivery of innovative training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of QUT staff involved in learning and teaching. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Strategic Lead, Educator Development and Recognition, and colleagues across the Learning and Teaching Unit (LTU) to develop and implement high-quality educational resources and activities that support the university's Real World Learning Vision.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from $110,145 to $130,811 per annum, plus up to 17% superannuation and leave loading. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including generous maternity leave, purchased leave scheme, and salary packaging options.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of QUT staff involved in learning and teaching.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Lead, Educator Development and Recognition, and colleagues across the LTU to design and implement innovative educational resources and activities.
- Contribute to the development of educational policy and practice at the organizational level, aligned with the university's strategic objectives.
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish a strong network of support for learning and teaching excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area or equivalent professional experience and standing.
- Recognition as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and/or completion of a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice qualification.
- Pedagogical expertise and leadership in learning and teaching, including demonstrated innovative curriculum design and teaching face-to-face and online at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Demonstrated research track record in the scholarship of learning and teaching, evidenced through impactful research activity such as quality publications and grants.
