Test and Evaluation Technician

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a Test and Evaluation Technician. In this role, you will conduct routine mechanical and environmental testing, document results, troubleshoot test equipment, maintain and calibrate it, and support the coordination of test requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducting routine mechanical and environmental testing, documenting results in compliance with relevant standards
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining test equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Calibrating test equipment to meet required specifications
  • SUPPORTING THE COORDINATION OF TEST REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY OF TEST FIXTURES AND SYSTEMS
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical or trades qualifications and experience
  • Prior experience working underneath Australian Standards
  • A Forklift license
  • A Restricted electrical or open cabling license
  • To be an Australian Citizen to meet defence security requirements
