Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Scholarship Forester. This is an exceptional opportunity for students nearing the completion of their final year of secondary school, preparing to begin university studies, or currently enrolled in relevant degrees.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete their degree (HECS/Student Loan free) and be paid while developing on-job experience and skills. On completion of their degree, they will be provided with ongoing employment as a graduate for 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in vocational development, paid employment and financial support throughout their degree.
  • Develop on-job experience and skills through part-time study and work arrangement.
  • Complete a two-year structured program designed to help start their career as a forestry future leader and/or technical specialist.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong academic record in Science, Environmental Science, Land or Resource Management, or Applied Geographical Information Systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for forestry and a desire to contribute to the industry's growth and development.
