An exciting opportunity exists for a VR General Practitioner to take on a locum position in our Urgent Care Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with urgent conditions.
This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the advancement of healthcare accessibility in the community. The clinic is supported by onsite nursing, and clinical staff, pathology, and imaging.
You will be working in a dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team, providing care to culturally diverse client groups. Key requirements include the ability to work outside of standard business hours, a current driver's licence, and advanced life support training.
About the role:
- Diagnose and treat patients with non-life-threatening urgent conditions.
- Lead the UCC clinical team with confidence and expertise.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver patient-centered care to culturally diverse groups.
Qualifications and experience required include:
- VR General Practitioner
- Emergency department or emergency care experience (preferable)
- RACGP, RACEM, or ACRRM fellowship
- AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Medicine
The Urgent Care Clinic offers generous shift loadings for weekend and public holiday work.
