About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in a fun and engaging environment
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs and activities
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and learning principles
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
