Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to support our Housing Capital Investment Programme in Perth. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects that meet the targets of the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS).


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the Project Manager with technical assistance and coordination of projects.
  • Conduct pre and post inspections, including dilapidation surveys for small refurbishment and renewal projects.
  • Prepare project briefs, technical drawings, specifications, and planning and building warrant submissions.
  • Manage allocated budgets for specific projects, verifying invoice accuracy and ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to procure contracts, ensuring alignment with Council requirements.
  • Attend contractor technical and progress meetings, site visits, and service team meetings.
  • Engage with tenants, owner-occupiers, and customers to assess technical aspects of small refurbishment, improvement, and energy efficiency projects.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you must hold an HNC or equivalent in a property, surveying, or construction industry discipline, with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a construction field. You should also have knowledge of Building Regulations and experience with AutoCAD drawing software.
