Mechanic - Aircraft Specialist

This position requires an experienced mechanic who can perform a wide range of tasks related to aircraft maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and inspection.

  • Detect and diagnose malfunctions in aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance checks to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Make repairs and replacements to faulty components and assemblies.
  • Work safely in a shop environment, adhering to regulations and guidelines for personal protective equipment (PPE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lift/push/pull parts and equipment up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear.
  • Work in a moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated aircraft maintenance hangar.
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft or operating equipment.
