About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Process Operator to join our team at Karara Mining. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in leading a crew of processing operators and ensuring the safe and reliable operations of the Karara Magnetite Concentrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Production Supervisor in leading a crew of processing operators
  • Ensure the safe and reliable operations of the Karara Magnetite Concentrator
  • Oversee the daily execution of operational tasks and activities within the plant
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to identify Permit to Work and Isolation requirements
  • Act as the first response for Process Operators in regard to production related troubleshooting

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in process operations and leadership roles
  • Strong background in process operations and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • WA HRL: Forklift (LF) and other relevant certifications
