Project Cost Controller

As a senior cost controller in the pharmaceutical industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects.
Key responsibilities include leading all cost control activities for engineering and real estate projects, collaborating with A/E, CM, automation integrator, and CQV firms to leverage or align cost control processes and deliverables, supporting procurement process by ensuring budget checks prior to committing purchase orders and contracts, and assisting bid analysis in conjunction with engineering and real estate team estimating resources and value engineering exercises.
Additional responsibilities include managing cost reporting and forecasting processes on mentioned projects, including change management and internal resource forecasting and control, supporting change order evaluations with engineering team estimating resources, monitoring project progress, productivity, and earned value; identifying and communicating deviations from plan, and facilitating agreement of final cost account with key supply chain members.
Requirements for this position include experience in project controls in a construction environment with pharmaceutical experience preferred, valuations, administration of subcontractor accounts, and variations experience, understanding of construction techniques and specifications, team working experience, and handling large value contracts or subcontracts experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer and delivery-focused skills, meet deadlines without prompting, prioritize and work autonomously, have high energy, motivation, and multitasking ability, and demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of business and financial issues.
