Legal Knowledge Manager Role

This is a newly created position that will lead and shape the national legal knowledge development strategy. The successful candidate will spearhead innovation and excellence by driving the development of quality legal content and knowledge assets across practices.

About the opportunity:

  • Lead the creation, review, and ongoing refinement of the firm's core legal content.
  • Establish and maintain house style across all legal documentation.
  • Partner with practice groups to define their knowledge priorities and develop tailored strategies for content development and knowledge capture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Content Development & Management: Create boilerplate clauses, precedents, and know-how guides.
  • Knowledge Strategy & Projects: Develop knowledge-related projects, including curation processes, taxonomy development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Governance & Quality Assurance: Ensure core legal content complies with regulatory requirements and reflects current legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with strong experience in legal drafting and content development.
  • Deep understanding of legal practice and importance of knowledge management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for clear, consistent legal communication.
