We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the software that controls a computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Mainframe Systems Programmer, you will be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, with the skills to fix even the most complex issues that arise. You will ensure the security of our computer systems and work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps us ahead of the curve.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain software that controls a computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software.
  • Ensure the security of our computer systems and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to lead professional work teams.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as experience working with operating systems such as Linux, UNIX, or z/OS. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is also required. Ideally, you will have experience working in a similar role, but we are open to candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our company.
