Business Development

As a Healthcare Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Business development - Identify and engage new clients to secure access to vacancies by a mixture of methods.
  • Relationship management - build and nurture client and candidate relationships to build trust, gain understanding, and ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Candidate sourcing - Attract suitable candidates for jobs by placing adverts, using industry databases, gaining referrals, and other methods.
  • Headhunting - Identify and approach suitable passive candidates and entice them to consider our client's opportunities.
  • Creating Employee Value Propositions: Understand your candidates' motivations and clients' culture and offer to create value messages and propositions that support candidate attraction.
  • Database management - Utilize and efficiently manage candidate databases to find suitable matches between clients and candidates.
  • Screening and shortlisting - Review applications and then manage recruitment processes such as interviews, testing, and shortlisting, updating clients and candidates.
  • Advising - Offer insight to clients and candidates regarding market trends and including interview techniques, industry salaries, etc.
  • New hire processes - References, qualifications, and security checking as well as negotiating contracts and completing all new hire administration and correspondence.
  • Meeting targets - Work to meet or exceed targets as defined with revenue targets to be agreed.
Essential Skills & Experience

The most important skill for this role is a passion for recruiting and the ability to engage and collaborate with team members and partners to deliver exceptional experiences to candidates and clients in the healthcare industry.

A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in human resources management, psychology, organisational development, or similar is essential for the role. Educational qualifications will need to be supplemented with up to 3 years industry experience within healthcare or life sciences. At least five years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Salary and Benefits

$80,000-$85,000 per annum plus super.
