Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in the Newcastle Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and reporting for a mine site, as well as stewardship of the general ledger.

The role requires utilisation of Business Intelligence systems to prepare insightful reporting and understand business performance. This includes completing month-end processes, annual budgeting and mid-year forecasts, using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ledger, and generating reporting and insights through Business Intelligence software.

The Management Accountant will also be responsible for assisting auditors with providing information and supporting audit requirements for multiple mines during hard close, half and full year audit processes, and joint venture accounting and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting / Business or related field.
  • CPA or CA membership.
  • 3+ years management accounting experience and mine accounting experience.
  • Systems experience (TM1 Planning Analytics, Pulse).
