We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Precruitment. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of light and heavy plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily work schedules and tasks with precision, striving for the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections as part of our fleet management program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of plant and fleet vehicles, including fabrication, product installation, and welding as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant trade qualifications or a tradesperson's rights certificate.
- Proven experience in a mechanical/diesel fitter role, ideally within the heavy vehicle/plant industry.
- Strong skills in completing accurate paperwork, including job cards, timesheets, and pre-starts.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
