About the Role
As a leading figure in surgical innovation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing orthopaedic surgery through cutting-edge robotic technology. You will be responsible for supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker's Mako system. This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the operating theatre.
  • You will serve as the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. You may come from fields such as :Orthopaedic clinical supportBiomedical science / engineeringMedical device experienceOperating theatre nursing / registered nursing experiencePhysiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposureHuman movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
