Job Overview:

The Security Shift Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of security services at client sites. Reporting to the site supervisor and Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, this individual is responsible for overseeing the activities of professional security officers during their assigned shift.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor staff on assigned shifts, providing constructive feedback and coaching
  • Foster effective communication among team members, clients, and management
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing strong organizational skills
  • Stay up-to-date with operating procedures and guidelines

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with diverse individuals
  • Able to work independently, using initiative and sound judgment within established parameters
  • Proficient in computer skills, leveraging innovative technologies
  • Calm and composed in crisis situations, prioritizing safety and efficiency

Work Environment:

  • Adaptability in various environments, including extreme temperatures, rain, snow, or heat
  • Lifting/carrying objects up to 40 pounds, occasional climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders
  • Prolonged standing/walking on diverse surfaces
