Care Companion

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Companion to assist clients with high support needs, including those using wheelchairs and requiring medical support, helping them live with dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with manual handling and use of aids
  • Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
  • Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
  • Build positive relationships with clients and families
  • Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting high-needs disability clients
  • Confidence in manual handling and use of aids
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)
  • Current Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
