Job Description

The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Hub Registrar to join our team in the Clinical Hub at the Operations Centre. As a Clinical Hub Registrar, you will provide high-level physician advice on the clinical aspects of all OpCen activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical risk assessment and stratification to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Offer clinical advice to the multidisciplinary team within the clinical hub and on-road.
  • Provide direct medical advice to patients and relevant parties requesting QAS care.
  • Work collaboratively with Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, and the broader QAS organization.
  • Integrate with the wider healthcare community and emergency services staff to provide patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board.
  • Be a trainee with appropriate experience and excellent clinical standing of a critical care specialty or equivalent qualifications.
  • Meet the mandatory requirements, special conditions, and/or other requirements as specified by the Medical Director and QAS Commissioner.
Working Conditions
  • Participate in shift work, including weekends and night shifts.
  • May require participation in on-call duties and undertake overtime.
