Electrical Specialist Job Summary

Job Description:

As an electrical specialist, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing electrical systems for various clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and efficiency of these systems by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on standard equipment
  • Construct and install system components, equipment, and fixtures
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in installations
  • Makes modifications to devices using standard test equipment
  • Adhere to safety procedures when working with electricity
  • Measure and control electrical parameters
  • Prepare technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience working with medium and high voltages
  • Must possess a Union/Utility MV and HV certifications, or the Australian equivalent
  • Must be knowledgeable of operating/maintaining switch gears, transformers, isolation breakers
