Role Summary:
A highly skilled and dedicated firefighter is sought to join a dynamic team. As a firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to fires and other emergencies with the aim of minimizing loss of life, property, and the environment.
Key Objectives:
- Protect and serve the community by responding to fires and other emergencies
- Enhance community safety through fire prevention and education activities
Responsibilities:
Operations Management- Respond to fires, rescues, and other emergencies as part of a fire crew
- Operate emergency vehicles and equipment safely and effectively
- Provide first aid and maintain operational readiness
- Promote fire prevention and participate in community education programs
- Assist with property inspections, evacuation planning, and emergency procedures
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and the community
- Maintain competencies through training and self-development
- Participate in technical and operational training to enhance skills
- Perform administrative duties and maintain station records
- Adhere to health and safety policies, and promote a positive team environment
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism
