Cater Care Australia is a market leader in the aged care sector, seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience, to support your career growth and work-life balance. Our permanent part-time position is available for 21-24 hours per week, with four different roster options to suit your lifestyle.

The Role:

As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, customer service, re-stocking, dishwashing, cleaning kitchen and dining areas, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, and providing fast and effective service during busy periods. You will also assist the broader team as required and prepare and present texture modified foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, serving meals and snacks in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Re-stock food and supplies as required, and maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas
  • Dishwash and sanitize equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Support the broader team as required, including participating in meal services and other activities
