About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all onsite activities comply with regulations and standards, promoting safety, and delivering quality workmanship on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all day-to-day operations on the construction site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review work progress daily and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Site measure and sketches to be supplied to construction manager.
  • Resolving onsite conflicts and handle any emergencies that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate site reports and documentation.
  • Review and complete minor remedial works on site as required.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in structural steel or steel house framing or in a similar role in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and site management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Prefer - trade background metal fab or carpentry.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • General industry induction.
  • Prefer EWP licences.
Benefits

The salary on offer is $100-$120k per annum, plus superannuation and a vehicle provided. The working hours are 6am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am-12pm Fridays.
